Batch and certificate lookup

Every Aminovera vial carries a lot number. That number is the link between the physical material and any documentation released for it. This page explains how to check that they correspond, and what to do when they do not.

Where to find the lot number

The lot number is printed on the vial label, on the line beginning LOT, and repeated on the outer carton alongside the catalogue number. Both labels also carry the storage condition for that specific product, which is not the same across the catalogue.

Checking a batch

Before working with a newly received material, take thirty seconds to confirm four things. This is ordinary goods-in practice and it catches the great majority of problems while they are still returnable.

• The compound name on the vial matches what you ordered, and matches the outer carton.
• The catalogue number matches your order confirmation.
• The lot number on the vial matches the lot number on any certificate supplied.
• The physical condition is as expected — seal intact, closure undamaged, no evidence that the material has been compromised in transit.

If the lot number on a certificate does not match the lot number on the vial, the certificate does not describe your material. Do not proceed on the assumption that it is close enough. Contact us with both numbers and we will resolve which document applies.

Requesting the record for a lot

To request documentation for a lot, send us the catalogue number and the lot number from the vial label through the contact page. We will confirm what has been released for that batch. Where documentation is still pending, we will say so rather than send a substitute from a different lot.

Storage on arrival

Lyophilised material is shipped at ambient temperature and is stable in transit for the duration of a normal domestic delivery. On arrival, store as stated on the product record and on the vial label. Storage conditions differ across this catalogue and are listed per product for that reason — do not assume that a condition which applies to one item applies to another.
