Terms and conditions of sale

These terms apply to every order placed through this website. Placing an order means you accept them. They should be read alongside the research-use-only statement, which forms part of them.

1. Who we are

Aminovera Research supplies laboratory research materials in the United Kingdom. Our registered trading entity, company number and registered address are shown in the site footer and on every invoice.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to purchase. You must be purchasing for lawful laboratory or analytical research. You confirm both at checkout and that confirmation is recorded against your order.

3. Products

Products are supplied for research use only, as set out in the research-use-only statement. Product images are representative. Pack size, physical form, specification and storage condition are as stated on the product record at the time of ordering.

4. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send a dispatch confirmation, not when you place the order or when payment is taken. We may decline any order, and we will decline orders where we are not satisfied that supply would be lawful or that the stated purpose is research use.

5. Pricing

Prices are in pounds sterling. The VAT treatment applied is shown at checkout and on the invoice. Where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakable, we are not obliged to supply at the incorrect price; we will contact you and you may cancel for a full refund.

6. Delivery

Delivery terms, targets and carrier arrangements are set out on the shipping and delivery page. Delivery estimates are targets, not guarantees, unless a guaranteed service has been purchased. Risk passes to you on delivery.

7. Cancellation and returns

Returns, refunds and the position on consumer cancellation rights are set out in the refund and returns policy. In summary: unopened, undamaged stock in its original sealed packaging may be returned within the stated window; materials whose seal has been broken cannot be returned, because their integrity can no longer be established.

8. Documentation

Where documentation has been released for a batch it is made available as described on the documentation page. We do not warrant that a certificate exists for every batch at every moment, and the product record states the current position.

9. Liability

We are liable for losses you suffer as a result of our breaking this contract where that loss is a foreseeable consequence of the breach. We are not liable for losses arising from use of a material outside its stated scope of supply — that is, any use in or on humans or animals — nor for losses arising from your failure to store, handle or dispose of a material in accordance with its documentation and applicable law.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Export and import

Where you order for delivery outside the United Kingdom, you are responsible for confirming that the material may lawfully be imported and held at the destination, and for any duties, taxes or charges. Seizure by a destination customs authority is not grounds for refund.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
